Mr. and Mrs. Kodama run an inn in a hot spring resort in northern Kanto. His wife, Rena, married Yugo, who was her boss when she was an office worker. Later, Yugo took over his parents' ryokan, and the couple is now running the business together. However, due to the recession, the business is in dire straits. Furthermore, Kawagoe, a man who has been a servant at the inn since the previous generation, becomes a headache for the couple.
