(#01 Curse attack to untransform) One of the Mystic Rangers, Hana Ryuna Madera, is attacked by Gyuras, a monster of the demon tribe Hadesion, while on patrol. The transformed Ryuna suffers from the insect poison released by Gyuras and hunts him down, but she is backed into a corner when the Hadesion's female leader, the vampire Camilleur, appears. Mystic Blue is lured out of the trap and attacked by the tentacle monster Gyuras and Kamilua, and is deprived of energy by Gyuras' tentacles and an energy-absorbing gun. The last drop of energy is taken away from Mystic Blue, and he is untransformed. (#03: Damage to the body causes the transformation to be canceled.) Camilleur and the executive tyrant Dragorua appear before Mystic Blue, who has been separated from his friends.
