Recently, a member of my department was transferred to the Kyushu branch office. So, on a holiday afternoon, I, as the head of the department, invited everyone to a simple "farewell party" for the new employee.... My wife is a woman I originally met at the same workplace. We knew each other from the other department, and we were all very familiar with each other, so from the morning, we were all rushing around getting ready for the party with home-cooked meals and snacks. The party was very lively.
